What’s up everybody,
Well this week was pretty fire until today. We served a freak ton of members and taught a lot of in person lessons. We hung out with the Elders just north of us which was so dope. I had to say goodbye to Elder Mohi, he’s finally going home, and it was pretty sad because I love that guy but I’m pumped he gets to go home.
Today though, we got even more restrictions! We no longer can meet members in person and can’t use the church! To put it in the poetic words of my last companion’s, Elder Bravender’s, words, “I don’t want to dwell on it, but I will say it feels like we’ve been asked to run a race, and then slowly had our legs hacked off, been given garbage prosthetics, and then have our prosthetics hacked off over and over.” The grind never stops though, rock cut out of a hill without hands and all that jazz.
The gospel is fetching true though! We talked with a dope couple in our ward about focusing our attention on Christ. When we pray with all our hearts comfort does come, and if you don’t believe me try it for yourself. God gives peace and that’s what we all need sometimes to move forward. When you focus on the Savior you don’t look at the crappy present situation.
Love you all have a good week!
